Corporate Charity Work

As a business, we work with a number of water sector clients in the UK to ensure that clean water can be delivered from reservoirs to home on demand.  We’re fortunate enough to live in a country that can take clean water at the turn of a tap for granted.

In 2009, we worked with these clients and donated £28,495.17 through sponsorships, gifts and donations to WaterAid, in addition to employee fundraising for the charity. 

We’re delighted to continue our corporate support for the charity during 2010 and will also be encouraging our employees to take part in fundraising and awareness raising initiatives throughout the year.

WaterAid Challenges
We actively promote fundraising opportunities for WaterAid.  Employees fundraising for the charity can apply for their fundraising efforts to be supported by the company through the Bentley Fundraisers Scheme, which matches their fundraising up to £100.

Workplace Fundraising
Workplace Fundraising provides an opportunity for employees to increase their understanding of some of the global challenges WaterAid seeks to overcome every day, whilst raising funds and having fun.  We encourage our employees to organise fundraising events at work in a fun and safe way.

Computer Sales
As a green initiative to minimise electronic waste, we clean down our computers and laptops of data when they are due to be replaced and offer these for sale at a very reasonable price to our employees.  100% of the proceeds from these sales is donated directly to WaterAid.
