In 2007, we raised the standards we expected of our subcontractors to achieve a satisfactory result in our Performance Reports by changing the acceptable score from 3.0 to 2.75. (1 = Excellent, 5 = Poor).

As the new standard is harder to achieve, we’re delighted to report that 94% of our subcontractors have achieved or exceeded the acceptable standard in 2007 compared with 84% who would have achieved the same standard of 2.75 a year earlier.

Had we continued using the old acceptable score of 3.0 in 2007, we would have seen 97% of our subcontractors achieving this score.
