JN Bentley is committed to being a responsible corporate citizen. So our vision for Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is to Be A Good Business and to be recognised as being a good business.
We believe that to achieve this we need much more than a healthy turnover and profit. So our CSR programme covers a broad spectrum of activities relating to business ethics. It essentially covers the management of our relations with our employees, clients, suppliers and the community.
There are four main strands to our CSR Programme. To Be First Choice is our company’s vision and the fact that this is also the first strand of the CSR programme demonstrates that being a responsible business is at the very heart of our strategy and is not a bolt-on to operations.

Bentley First Choice
This part of the programme focuses on how we go the extra mile to provide excellent customer service to our clients and to build effective relationships with our supply chain partners. Read More

This strand looks at how we encourage our employees to be involved in discussions and decision making. It covers health & safety and employee consultation. Read More
Bentley Responsible
This element focuses on our environmental commitments and aspirations. It considers what we do on a corporate level as well as what our employees can do to play their part in tackling this global issue. Read More
Bentley Caring
Within this element there are three distinct charitable giving initiatives looking at sponsorship and community investment; employee support; and corporate charity support. Read More
Business in the Community
We have become a member of Business in the Community and will be working closely with them to develop our CSR programme further throughout 2008 as we continue towards our goal to Be A Good Business.
