Training and Development

During 2008, we became accredited to deliver our own on site training and testing for Plant Operators.  In 2009, we built on this commitment and opened our very first dedicated plant training facility in Earby, West Craven. We currently employ two full time trainers/testers delivering a range of courses from CPCS training (Construction Plant Competence Scheme) to our own bespoke Apprenticeship scheme. 

We have also continued to support employees through their continuous professional development with a number of employees gaining chartered status in their profession including engineering and quantity surveying.

At a time when many companies are cutting back on training, we continue to see the value in investing in our people.

Over 75 of our employees have undertaken a leadership and management programme with the Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM). The senior management team undertook the external programme  - which proved so successful that we developed an internal programme that could focus on areas critical to the continued success of the business.
