Linton Falls Hydroelectric Power Company

In 2011, the Linton Falls Hydroelectric Power Company was established by JN Bentley, specifically to develop, own and operate hydroelectric power stations. 

Our project at Linton Falls is the first hydroelectric power project that sees us not only designing and constructing such a scheme, but also owning and operating it.

JN Bentley itself has been involved in many renewable schemes to date, including 'run of river' projects, clean water and wastewater screw generators, as well as turbine refurbishment and turbine decommissioning. 

Our growing expertise as a developer and design-and-construct contractor in the renewable energy sector has seen the establishment of a specialist Hydropower Team, working with prestigious clients such as Northumbrian Water, British Waterways, Yorkshire Water, The Small Hydro Company and RWE npower renewables.
