Part of the Mott MacDonald Group, we work with major clients in the water industry and beyond, delivering full feasibility, design, construction and commissioning on challenging schemes across the UK. We’re currently looking for talented graduate electrical engineers to join our teams.

Our graduate electrical engineers are vital in supporting the delivery of discrete elements of larger pieces of work. As you gain more experience you’ll work with minimal supervision and an increased level of responsibility, splitting time between site and the office.  You’ll put your learning from university into practice, supporting colleagues and further developing your skills.

What you'll do:

  • Support the project team coordinating the electrical aspects of projects, together with producing electrical design.
  • Help us maintain a world-class safety culture.
  • Be offered key training and opportunities for development.
  • Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers, including confirming and approving their drawings and designs, and overseeing their activity on site.
  • Assist with the production of estimates and costs.
  • Produce important design, health and safety and contract documentation.
  • Prepare important completion documents such as O&M manuals and commissioning plans.
  • Undertake site-based commissioning.

What you'll bring:

  • Initiative and the ability to work well under pressure whilst maintaining a positive attitude and sense of humour.
  • A strong work ethic – sites and design offices are busy places!
  • The ability to work both independently and in a team.
  • Confidence and high levels of motivation.
  • A willingness to learn and preferably some experience in the construction industry - but this isn’t essential - you’ll soon be out on site when you join the team!
  • And the paperwork: a degree in a relevant subject within the last three years, plus a full UK driving license.
