Apprentices

Background
In 2000, we launched an apprenticeship scheme taking between 12 and 15 school leavers each year and provided them with training and on-site experience to gain an NVQ Level 2, this involved providing our apprentices with practical training, delivered in week-long blocks, together with on-site training and assessment to gain an NVQ qualification in General Construction Operations.

2010-11
We are now reviewing the programme again and considering whether to re-open the programme to a new intake of apprentices.

Who should apply?
Apprentices can be any age and do not need any previous experience of working in construction.  All we ask is that you have a genuine interest in working in the construction industry and are prepared to work hard to learn the skills you will need to work on sites safely.
